Khajurāho is a small town situated on the banks of the Ken River in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It’s renowned for its numerous ornately carved temples that were constructed between 950 and 1050 AD by the Chandela dynasty. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most visited tourist destinations in India and features some of the best-preserved Hindu temple carvings from this era.
